A word from the general manager
I am greatly honored today to proudly announce the trial opening of the outpatient clinic at the Egyptian medical center and I would really like to express my heartfelt happiness and gratitude and appreciation to Allah who has granted me this great opportunity to witness the effort and achievement that can only be described as a dream come true. This dream has come about to its fullest culmination after years of hard work determination and focus on achieving this noble goal. It has taken the toll of a substantial investment of Egyptian investors whose aim and objectives has been to provide the local community and country at large the best healthcare service the Gambia will have ever seen. The EMC and its directors and investors have only one objective and that is to serve. This venture has been initiated based on the necessity to avoid traveling abroad for first-class health and medical care. The trial opening of the outpatient clinic at the EMC is just a stepping stone to the forthcoming greatest project of health and medical service in the Gambia which will also provide the same service for neighboring countries and also generates great job opportunities for the local community. Finally I would like to express my deepest happiness and gratitude to all government officials in the Gambia for paving the path for this institute to see the light of day and to all the hospitable and friendly community of the smiling coast of Africa.
